Companies that Ship Alsatian Food to the USA

Kaysersburg in Alsace

Patricia and I made our first trip to Alsace last year to delve into her family history.

We fell in love with the area and of course the food. we found a number of places that ship the local tastes out, but only to Europe.

We brought back a number of jars of Choucroute and exhausted them.

We can't find a company that ships these items to the US. Can you offer any help?

Alsatian Food in the US

I wish I could help you here...

I have the same problem with getting a hold of American foods over here sometimes.

It seems to be very difficult to send prepared foods across the ocean, but maybe someone else has found a way to do it...

If anyone else has had any luck either getting Alsatian food sent from Alsace to the US

OR

If you've found someone in the US producing some great Alsatian food

Please let us know!!! : )

My solution to this sort of situation is to learn how to cook it myself.

And I have learned how to cook A LOT of American dishes since I've moved to France.

It's usually easier than you think.

Maybe I'll have to put an Alsatian recipes section on the website...
