I am looking for birth records for Julien Lamour, son of Marthe Albers Lamour. They immigrated to USA in 1905 from Remiremont.

Lorraine not Alsace

Hi Anita,

You are looking for relatives in Lorraine, not Alsace.

You won't find them in the Alsace records, but you will likely find them in the Lorraine records.

And the best news is that you should be able to find them pretty easily if you just dig long enough through the Remiremont records.
