I Love Alsace and Your Site!

I lived in Strasbourg on my junior year abroad in college. Now that I am retired, 48 years later, I have been wanting to move back there for several years.

But I will not microchip my dog, as the border travel requires. I have several big parties a year. The next one is an Alsatian dinner.

It makes me more homesick to go back to Strasbourg. Of course the main course is my favorite Alsatian dish Choucroute Garnis.

Soup is beer soup. Dessert is Tarte Bettlerman, our favorite pastry, Munster and Apple Bredele.

Appetisers are Tarte Flambee, Onion Quiche, bits of Coq au Riesling and little cups of Baekeoffe.

I wish we could get saucisse chaud here. We adore it, but it is not available here.
