Kraft family

My 2x Great Grandfather was William V Kraft. He immigrated to Pittsburgh around 1870. His records once he got to the states say he is from Alsace Lorraine. I can't find information that ties him to a particular town. Are there any suggestions on how to proceed?

I have the following information about him:

Name: William Valentine(?) Kraft
Parents: William Kraft and Anna Davis
Born: November 2, 1852: Alsace Lorraine
Immigrate to America: between 1869-1871
Death: December 22 1943:Pittsburgh PA

We may be related. I haven’t checked into it too much, but my grandfather was John Kraft of Homestead, near Pittsburgh. My father was Oliver Kraft. I have gone to the Kraft reunion a few times. Last one was near Seven Springs Pennsylvania.
