My Alsatian Grandfather

I'm looking at coming and visiting Alsace because my grandfather was from this area.

I don't have many details, but his name was Sitterle and he told a story of how his family horse farm was taken by the Germans and two female family members were taken away.

This would have been around the late 1800's.

I'm planning to visit with my husband and two of my adult daughters who speak French, which I thought would help us communicate.
