Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some ancestors of mine who migrated from France to Canada. Does anyone know where I should look to find out about individuals who migrated from France to Canada?

My mom tells me there were three brothers in our distant family who moved their forestry business to Canada somewhere.

Like first or last names. When were these people born or when did they die.

Where in France they lived or were born. Things like this will help you find more information.

Three men who lived in France and came to Canada will give you a very long list. More info will make that list shorter and more manageable.

Thanks for that. She gave me their names. First names. I think its going to be hit or miss in trying to track the records down. But I have the rest of my life to do the research.
