Hi Thomas,

It would be a good idea to provide more info here.
There are a lot of people who come here looking for info and sometimes may have something for you and they will leave a comment with something you may need.

The only way to confirm your relative's birth place is to dig through the records until you find his name.

So his name is very very important.

I recommend leaving the names of all Alsace relatives because you never know what you may find or what someone else may find.
