What are some places to stay that are near the airport and have easy access to public transport in and out of the city as well as to the airport?

Staying in Strasbourg with Easy Access to the Airport

Actually there's no real good reason to stay near the Strasbourg airport. If you want to stay in Strasbourg, but need to get to the airport really fast, it's not a problem.

The airport has a train stop and it's a short ride (less than 15 minutes) from the airport to the train station in Strasbourg.

If you just don't want to stay in a big city, there are plent of little villages not too far away from Strasbourg and some of them are accessible by train.

I can understand not wanting to stay in Strasbourg if you are renting a car. In that case, you are better off staying in a smaller town or village.
