Prive/Privia Family

I am researching the Privia/Prive family who lived in Alsace-Lorraine. Nicholas Privia was the first of his family to come to America in 1847 as far as I can tell. He settled in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois. One of his ancestors was Fiacre Prive who lived from 1685 to 1730. Any information about their lives, their occupations, other stories, etc. would be most helpful. thank you.
