The amazing difference.

I live in a California town of three-thousand with twenty real estate offices.

Ribeauville, where I stayed for two weeks is similar in size, but with zero such offices.

As with all the towns in Southern Alsace (Haut Rhin), Ribeauville looks like it was designed in the Walt Disney studios.

And of course, it is just the opposite. Touring Mulhouse, Colmar, and all the semi-rural towns in Southern Alsace, I found the most beautiful, peaceful area I have ever seen.

We flew into Strasbourg and rented a car for a month, spending two weeks in Alsace.

We should have remained in Alsace forever. I will return.
