Train and Bus routes in Alsace

by Nitin
(India)

Hello Suzele,

We are a group of 8 ppl, 4 are above 65 years and would not want to walk more than 1-2 hrs a day. We want to visit Alsace for a week in June and would want to stay in one or max two places.

For the younger people in the group biking and walking would be a lovely way to explore the place.

However, please advise how the older group will be able to travel? Are there bus and train services to take them between the villages and towns?

Thanks.

Hi Nitin,

Here's the list of towns and villages accessible by train in Alsace on the website.

Be aware that trains do not run all day everyday.
It won't allow you to go everywhere you want, but it's better than nothing : )

Or you could hire a tour guide like me to do everything for you!

Have fun in Alsace,
Suzele
