Train travel CDG Paris to Colamr

Flying into CGD 9.30am and catching train to Colmar same day. Can I catch a train direct from CGD to Colmar and alternatively I am concerned in regard to pre-booking on TGV in case the plane is delayed, any suggestions?

TGV tickets

I would always buy long distance train tickets in advance. One, they are cheaper (like plane tickets) and also if you don't have tickets and a strike occurs (rare but possible), you will not likely be able to get tickets.

Like plane connections, always give yourself lots of time : )

Although trains are more on time than airplanes haha

And it's possible to catch the TGV from CDG.
It may or may not be a direct train.

Just have to check the schedule : )
